Parking
There is limited free 1 hour on street parking in Church Street. The nearest car park in Church Street offer the hourly or all day pay and display car parking. Free parking is available outside Rooms @ Number Six (single yellow line) between the hours of 6pm – 8am Monday – Saturday and all day Sunday.
Checking in
Check in is between 2pm and 8pm. Earlier check in can usually be arranged. Please contact the host. If you are later than this you may not be able to gain access and must make alternative arrangements at the time of booking or no later than forty eight hours prior to check in. Check out is no later than 11am.
Collecting and depositing your key
Rooms are situated down the courtyard behind “Costa Coffee” Upon arrival, just walk down the courtyard between “Langrick & Coe Opticians”and “Orbis” to the he glass door on your left hand side (please see the map) Your keys will be left in drop at the bottom of the stairs on the right box and we will email you with the code for you key collection box 48 hours prior to your arrival
When you leave, just drop your keys in the drop off box which is clearly marked. If you do not leave you key, we will have to charge £25 for an additional key and fob

About Oakham
Oakham is the county town of Rutland and has been placed at number 51 on The Sunday Times’ list of the best 101 places to live in Britain 2016.
Its historic sites include the 14th century church, the medieval castle and the Buttercross – all a short walk from Rooms @ Number Six.
Oakham has excellent primary and secondary schools, including Oakham School, one of the leading independent schools in the country.

Rutland Water is less than 2 miles from Oakham and offers a great range of outdoor activities – including sailing, fishing, walking and cycling.
Rutland Water also has a nature reserve, which serves as a breeding site for ospreys and holds the annual ‘Bird Fair’.
